Unsupported or Not Recommended
- Generic SAE J2534 PassThru devices are not officially supported for complete DTS Monaco engineering functionality.
- ELM327 and standard OBD2 scanners do not support the required Mercedes-Benz engineering protocols.
- Interfaces without DoIP support cannot communicate with certain control units on newer Mercedes-Benz platforms.
Recommended Interface
For the most complete CAN and DoIP coverage, Mercedes-Benz eCOM or XENTRY Diagnosis VCI C6 is recommended.
These interfaces are better suited to modern Mercedes-Benz platforms such as W206, W223, and other DoIP-based vehicles requiring high-speed ECU communication.
